Menerima Laporan keluarga korban tersebut, Polsek Mengwi melakukan Olah TKP posisi terakhir Korban petugas menemukan barang barang milik korban di gubuk sawah yaitu Sepeda Motor Yamaha Vega No.Pol P 6794,handphone milik korban, 2 (dua) buah Baju dan 1 (satu) buah celana pendek, Rokok milik korban,kunci kamar korban, Dompet yang berisikan STNK Sepeda Motor dan Sejumlah uang.

Setelah melakukan olah TKP Petugas kepolisian Polsek Mengwi bersama Bhabinkamtibmas serta masyarakat berupaya melakukan pencarian terhadap korban sekitar sawah korban bekerja dan juga di seputaran aliran sungai dekat areal sawah tersebut, yang mana dimungkinkan korban terseret aliran air sungai tersebut

Sebelum menghilang, korban bertemu terakhir dengan Pemilik sawah tempat ia bekerja saksi I Nyoman Landra dan I Nyoman candra dimana I Nyoman Candra menyuruh korban untuk memperbaiki parit sawahnya yang kemudian korban langsung memperbaiki parit sawah tuannya itu dan kedua saksi meninggalkannya menuju rumahnya.

Tim Gabungan Polres Badung, Polsek Mengwi dan Tim Rescue, Tim Basarnas Polda Bali serta BNPB terus melakukan pencarian di seputar sawah dan aliran sungai dari Subak babakan hingga radius 6 Km ke Hulu dan ke Hilir namun belum juga ditemukan.

Hari ini memasuki hari ketiga, pencarian menerjunkan 45 petugas gabungan melibatkan Polda Bali, Polres Badung dan Polsek Mengwi serta BNPB dibantu dengan masyarakat melakukan pencarian dengan berpencar dan melakukan penyelaman ke dalam sungai.

Kapolsek Mengwi Seijin Kapolres Badung membenarkan terjadinya orang hilang tersebut “ kami terus melakukan pencarian bersama dengan TIM Basarnas dan Rescue Polda Bali dan BNPB serta dibantu oleh masyarakat, hari ini pencarian menyelami aliran sungai, namun hingga saat ini belum ada tanda tanda ditemukannya korban.
