Mess Korem 061 SK Jalan Padjajaran Bogor, Sabtu (12/5/2018) malam.

Danrem 061/SK Kol. Inf. Mohammad Hasan mengatakan, peran Babinsa jadi ujung tombak TNI di masyarakat. Mereka mengawasi dan mengayomi masyarakat di tingkat teritorial.

“Melihat beratnya tugas mereka maka Korem 061 Suryakancana mengapresiasi para personil yang bertugas dengan menggelar lomba foto dan video tentang kehidupan Babinsa,” jelas Mohammad Hasan.

Penilaiam Babinsa Award 2018 mengacu pada kriteria penilaian yang objeknya meliputi kegiatan Babinsa dalam penanganan bencana, ketahanan pangan, keagamaan, serta pendidikan pungkas Danrem.

Babinsa Award bukan hanya mengapresiasi di teritorial Korem 061/SK namun juga mengapresiasi Babin Kamtibmas yang memiliki peran dan fungsi yang sama sebagai pengayom Masyarakat.

Lomba ini dibuka untuk umum. Penilaiannya melibatkan internal TNI dan eksternal mulai dari profesional di bidang media, wartawan, serta pewarta foto.

Kasrem, Wakapolresta Bogor Kota AKBP Rantau Isnur Eka mengapresiasi kegiatan Babinsa Award 2018 yang baru kali pertama diadakan di lingkungan korem 061/SK. Ia mengatakan, sinergitas TNI – POLRI semakin solid dan kompak serta harmonis menjalankan tugasnya.

Sementara, Ketua Umum DPP IMO Indonesia Yakub F. Ismail mengatakan, Babinsa Award 2018 bukan hanya menampilkan sebuah gambar tapi satu moment yang dapat dibaca dan dilihat.

“Sebagai satu rangkaian cerita pengabdian dan dedikasi dari Babinsa dan Babin Kamtibmas,” ujar Yakub.

Dengan keterlibatan masyarakat Pers dalam pelaksanaanya, kata Yakub, ada poin tersendiri dari IMO-Indonesia selaku Organisasi Badan Usaha Media Online Tanah Air.

“Acara seperti ini dapat dipertahankan dan berlangsung setiap tahunnya,” tambah Yakub. ( Target)
