SUMENEP, TARGET NUSA.COM – Antusias masyarakat sangat tinggi saat mengikuti Pameran dan Kontes Tembakau kering di Desa Rajun, Kecamatan Pasongsongan, Kabupaten Sumenep. Kamis (22/08/2024).

Pameran dan Kontes Tembakau Kering tersebut bertajuk Masa Kejayaan, yang diadakan oleh Kampung Tembakau Desa Rajun, Kecamatan Pasongsongan, Kabupaten Sumenep.

Kegiatan tersebut dilanjutkan dengan acara Halaqoh Tembakau dan Silaturrahmi Tokoh dan Petani Tembakau.

Melihat antusiasme masyarakat tersebut, Direktur Kampung Tembakau Fathorrahman meminta kegiatan Pameran dan Kontes Tembakau dimasukkan Kalender Event Kabupaten Sumenep tahun 2025.

“Dengan masuknya pameran dan Kontes Tembakau ke kalender event kabupaten Sumenep 2025 nanti bisa berdampak positif bagi perekonomian masyarakat” Kata Fathorrahman saat sambutan di acara Halaqoh Tembakau.

Menurutnya, pameran dan Kontes Tembakau di Kampung Tembakau juga bisa menjadi daya tarik Wisata. Bisa Melihat koleksi hasil tembakau yang disimpan dari tahun-ketahun dari bermacam-macam varietas khas Des Rajun.

“Kami masyarakat kampung tembakau selalu menyimpan hasil panen tembakau kering dan siap dikunjungi untuk melihat varietas tembakau kami ini” Tambahnya.

Kegiatan tersebut dilanjutkan dengan Halaqoh Tembakau yang dihadiri Kepala Dinas Koperasi UMKM Dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Sumenep M. Ramli, Perwakilan DKPP Sumenep, Camat Pasongsongan.(RED/TN/TIM)
