Pengurus Besar Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (PB PGRI) sebentar lagi akan melaksanakan kongres, tepatnya pada tanggal 1 – 3 Maret 2024 yang akan memilih ketua umum beserta jajarannya dan membahas berbagai hal mulai dari anggaran dasar dan anggaran rumah tangga serta program lima tahun kedepan.

Demikian disampaikan Ketua PGRI Provinsi Bali, I Komang Arta Saputra S.Pd., M.Pd., Kamis (22/2/2024).

“Dalam Kongres nanti akan membahas berbagai hal termasuk program kerja lima tahun kedepan,” ungkap Komang Arta Saputra sembari menyampaikan kongres ini merupakan forum tertinggi dari organisasi PGRI, jadi kongres akan
dihadiri oleh seluruh pengurus PGRI Provinsi dan kabupaten kota se-indonesia.

“Termasuk Bali juga akan ikut hadir, dan akan menyampaikan permasalahan – permasalahan tentang guru, permasalahan tentang pendidikan yang dialami di provinsi Bali termasuk juga aspirasi-aspirasi dari pengurus PGRI kabupaten kota maupun dari guru-guru dan lembaga pendidikan,” sambungnya.

Selain itu, kongres yang rencananya akan di hadiri Presiden Joko Widodo akan membahas upaya-upaya dari PGRI untuk dapat mendukung pemerintah dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan kesejahteraan guru maupun perlindungan terhadap guru.

“Kami PGRI provinsi Bali juga mendapatkan dukungan penuh dari pengurus PGRI kabupaten kota Provinsi Bali, oleh Yayasan pembinaan lembaga pendidikan PGRI,” lanjut Komang Arta Saputra.

Rencananya Supervisi Bali juga akan turut hadir pada acara kongres yang akan dilaksanakan di Jakarta. Provinsi Bali delegasinya cukup besar. “Kurang lebih berjumlah 96 orang,” pungkas Komang Arta Saputra. (Red/TN)
