Sehubungan dengan beredarnya akun Whatsapp bodong menggunakan profil Bapak Penjabat Gubernur Bali Sang Made Mahendra Jaya dengan modus meminta transfer uang, siapapun pihak yang dihubungi dihimbau untuk tidak menanggapi telepon atau kiriman pesan dari orang yang mengaku Pj. Gubernur Bali tersebut. Hal ini disampaikan Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi Bali, Dewa Made Indra, Rabu (6/9) malam.

“Saya mendapat laporan ada akun Whatsapp menggunakan foto profil Bapak Pj Gubernur Bali dan meminta uang,” kata Dewa Indra.

Birokrat asal Desa Pemaron ini memastikan bahwa pesan yang dikirimkan oleh nomor telepon 082240078887 dengan menggunakan foto profil Pj Gubernur Bali saat dilantik di Jakarta kemarin itu adalah nomor palsu.

“Saya minta semua jajaran khususnya di Pemprov Bali untuk tidak menanggapi telepon atau WA dari nomor ini. Ini penipuan, jangan sampai ada yang kena tipu,” ujarnya.

Ia juga meminta kepada masyarakat untuk berhati-hati jika ada pesan-pesan mencurigakan yang mengatasnamakan pejabat di lingkungan Pemerintah Provinsi Bali.

“Konfirmasi dahulu kepada Pemprov Bali, apalagi yang melibatkan permintaan transfer uang,” kata mantan Kalaksa BPBD Bali. (Red/TN)
