Ketua DPP IMO-Indonesia, Yakub F. Ismail memberikan pernyataan dan mengutuk keras terjadinya serangan bom bunuh diri di tiga gereja di Surabaya, Mapolrestabes Surabaya dan penyanderaan aparat polisi oleh napi terorisme di Rutan Cabang Salemba, Mako Brimob, Kelapa Dua, Depok.

“Mengucapkan belasungkawa terhadap korban, dan keluarga korban baik yang meninggal dunia maupun luka-luka. Semoga tetap diberi ketabahan,” ujar Yakub F. Ismail didampingi Sekjen M. Nasir Bin Umar, Senin (14/5/2018).

Sebagai Organisasi Badan Usaha Media Online yang turut berkontribusi dalam pemberitaan secara nasional, IMO-Indonesia mendukung dan mendorong pemerintah untuk melibatkan Industri Pers Online dalam pemberitaan secara lebih luas terhadap masyarakat Indonesia.
