TargetNusa.Com, Mojokerto – Menginjak waktu menjelang Bulan Suci Ramadhan, dalam kalender kepolisian ada beberapa operasi yang digelar demi terselenggara nya ibadah yang tenang dan damai. Mulai dari narkoba hingga minuman keras. Tak terkecuali operasi Patuh Semeru 2018 yang bertujuan meningkatkan kepatuhan dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam Kamseltibcarlantas di wilayah hukum Polres Mojokerto.

Untuk itu pagi hari ini Kamis (26/4/18) secara serentak di seluruh jajaran Polda Jatim menyelenggarakan Apel Gelar Pasukan Operasi Patuh Semeru 2018. Kapolres Mojokerto AKBP Leonardus Simarmata S.Sos S.I.K MH. bertindak sebagai Inspektur Upacara membacakan amanat dari Kepala Korps Lalu Lintas Polri bertempat di lapangan apel besar Mapolres Mojokerto Jl. Gajah Mada No.99 Mojosari Mojokerto.

Sebagaimana diketahui bersama operasi patuh tahun 2018 ini akan dilaksanakan selama 14 hari, yang dimulai dari tanggal 26 april sampai dengan 9 mei 2018, secara serentak di seluruh indonesia.
sasaran prioritas operasi patuh tahun 2018 adalah sebagi berikut :
1. pengemudi menggunakan handphone;
2. pengemudi melawan arus;
3. pengemudi sepeda motor berboncengan lebih dari satu;
4. pengemudi di bawah umur;
5. pengemudi dan penumpang sepeda motor tidak menggunakan helm sni;
6. pengemudi kendaraan bermotor menggunakan narkoba / mabuk;
7. pengemudi berkendara melebihi batas kecepatan yang ditentukan.

Kepada Media AKBP Leo mengatakan bahwa, “Operasi Patuh adalah aksi simpatik yang dilalukan oleh jajaran polisi dalam hal ini satuan lalu lintas untuk memperlancar arus lalu lintas dan menurunkan angka kecelakaan. Tujuan utamanya untuk keselamatan pengendara kendaraan bermotor itu sendiri. Jika pelanggaran berkurang, maka keselamatan berkendara akan meningkat”.
