Menteri Agraria dan Tata Ruang/Kepala Badan Pertanahan Nasional (ATR/BPN), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) menghadiri Upacara Parade dan Defile dalam rangka Peringatan HUT ke-79 Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) di Lapangan Monumen Nasional (Monas), Jakarta Pusat pada Sabtu (05/10/2024). Dalam kesempatan ini, Presiden Joko Widodo bertindak sebagai Inspektur Upacara.

Menteri AHY yang hadir mengenakan setelan jas dipadu baret Linud Kostrad dan tanda jasa merasa bangga karena pernah menjadi bagian dari TNI selama 16 tahun. Menurutnya, TNI telah memberikan bekal penting untuk melanjutkan tugas pengabdian kepada masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara. Ia pun berharap agar TNI semakin kuat, modern, profesional, serta dicintai masyarakat.

Adapun peringatan HUT TNI dimulai sejak pukul 08.00 WIB. Seusai upacara, berlangsung pertunjukkan demonstrasi bela diri personel TNI, berkuda, atraksi terjun payung dan pesawat tempur, serta defile pasukan TNI Angkatan Darat, Angkatan Udara, dan Angkatan Laut. Kegiatan diakhiri dengan kirab alat utama sistem senjata (alutsista) milik TNI.

Turut mendampingi Menteri ATR/Kepala BPN dalam kesempatan ini, Pembina IKAWATI ATR/BPN, Annisa Pohan Yudhoyono dan Staf Khusus Menteri Bidang Manajemen Internal, Agust Jovan Latuconsina. Turut hadir dalam upacara, para Menteri dan Kepala Lembaga Kabinet Indonesia Maju; Presiden dan Panglima TNI dari masa ke masa; sejumlah tokoh masyarakat dan tokoh adat serta pensiunan TNI.
