Sesuai arahan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR), Gubernur Bali Wayan Koster memantau pembangunan infrastruktur Shorcut Singaraja-Mengwitani di titik 7A,B,C dan titik 8.

Gubernur Koster didampingi Bupati Buleleng Putu Agus Suradnyana, Wakil Bupati Nyoman Sutjidra, Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Buleleng Gede Supriatna, pihak Balai Pelaksanan Jalan Nasional dan pihak pelaksana di Desa Wanagiri, Buleleng Minggu,(13/2) kemarin.

Gubernur Koster mengatakan, pembangunan Shorcut Singaraja-Mengwitani titik 7A,B,C dan titik 8 dipastikan selesai tepat waktu pada Oktober 2022

“Saya sudah berbicara secara khusus dengan Menteri PUPR, proyek di Bali yang bersumber dari dana APBN tidak mengalami refocusing, dan saya akan kawal terus sampai selesai,” ujarnya.

Koster menerangkan, tahun ini juga akan dilanjutkan pembangunan Shorcut titik 7D,E, titik 9 dan 10 serta memasuki proses tender ditargetkan selesai pada 2023. Kemudian akan dilanjutkan proses pembebasan lahan untuk kelanjutan proyek Shorcut titik 11 dan 12 paling lambat pembangunan pisiknya 2024.

Di tengah pembangunan Shortcut Singaraja-Mengwitani akan dibangun destinasi wisata baru yaitu patung pahlawan pendiri kota Singaraja yaitu Ki Barak Panji Sakti dengan luas lahan 44 are.

”Ini merupakan usulan Bupati Buleleng, dan langsung saya respon lanjut menugaskan arsitek dari Udayana Wayan Kastawan untuk merancang. Astungkara sudah diakomodir pihak Balai Besar Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional sebagai bagian pembangunan proyek Shortcut ini, tepat saya berdiri saat ini,” imbuhnya.

Menurut Gubernur, pembangunan Shortcut Singaraja-Mengwitani ini mengurangi jumlah tikungan 116 tikungan menjadi 41 tikungan, sehingga waktu tempuh Singaraja-Denpasar yang semula 2 jam 30 menit menjadi 1 jam 15 menit.

“Sehingga pemakai jalan menjadi lebih aman, nyaman dan lebih cepat serta menikmati suasana yang sejuk dan indah dengan kuliner khasnya,” jelasnya.

Setelah kunjungan ke Shortcut Titik 7A,B,C dan Titik 8, Gubernur Wayan Koster melanjutkan kunjungan di Bendungan Tamblang. Dari hasil kunjungan tersebut terlihat pengerjaan Bendungan Tamblang sudah mencapai progres hampir 70%.(Red-TN)
