SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar mempersiapkan pelaksanaan upacara Saraswati sebagai perayaan turunnya ilmu pengetahuan setiap 210 hari sekali (Saniscara Umanis Watugunung).

Kegiatan ini melibatkan warga sekolah, siswa, guru, dan pegawai untuk melakukan persembahyangan bersama, dengan mengawali pembersihan lingkungan sekolah, pembuatan penjor, menghias Padmasana sekolah untuk memohon anugerah kebijaksanaan.

Sebagai bentuk syukur dan penajaman ilmu pengetahuan agar siswa tidak hanya pintar secara akademik tetapi juga berkarakter budi pekerti.

Menjelang perayaan Hari Raya Saraswati, SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar rutin melaksanakan berbagai lomba kreativitas budaya Hindu. Seperti ; lomba membuat lawar, membuat gebogan, lomba mekidung, lomba membuat banten.

“Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memupuk rasa kebersamaan, kreativitas, dan pelestarian tradisi di kalangan siswa,” ujar Made Sudana.

Lebih lanjut Made Sudana mengatakan bagi sebagian siswa, lomba ini menghadirkan pengalaman baru sekaligus cara belajar budaya secara langsung.

“Lomba-lomba dalam rangka memperingati Hari Suci Saraswati bertujuan menjaga budaya Bali, terutama semangat menyama braya melalui kegiatan ngelawar
dan membuat gebogan mempuyai nilai gotong royong bisa ditanamkan sejak di bangku sekolah, sehingga kelak dapat diterapkan di masyarakat,” tambahnya.

Made Sudana juga menegaskan, lomba yang digelar bukan hanya melatih keterampilan, tetapi juga menumbuhkan rasa kebersamaan serta tanggung jawab untuk melestarikan tradisi dan budaya hindu ditengah derasnya arus modernisasi. (Red/TN)
