Sama seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, Penyelenggara Telekomunikasi yang menyediakan layanan data seluler dan IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) akan dimatikan pada saat pelaksanaan Hari Raya Nyepi Saka 1946 tahun ini yang akan jatuh pada Senin, 11 Maret 2024.

Hal ini disampaikan oleh Kepala Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika dan Statistik Provinsi Bali, Gede Pramana dalam siaran persnya, Jumat (8/3). Ia menyampaikan bahwa kebijakan ini merupakan kebijakan yang setiap tahunnya dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi Bali guna mendukung pelaksanaan Hari Raya Nyepi untuk dapat berjalan dengan kondusif, aman dan nyaman.

Keputusan ini diperkuat dengan adanya Surat Edaran Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia Nomor 2 Tahun 2024 tentang Himbauan untuk Melaksanakan Seruan Bersama tentang Pelaksanaan Rangkaian Hari Raya Suci Nyepi Tahun Baru Caka 1946 Provinsi Bali Tahun 2024 tanggal 5 Maret 2024 serta Seruan Bersama Majelis-Majelis Agama dan Lembaga Sosial Keagamaan Provinsi Bali Tahun 2024 tentang Pelaksanaan Rangkaian Hari Raya Suci Nyepi Tahun Caka 1946 tanggal 2 Februari 2024.

Penonaktifan layanan data seluler dan IPTV ini akan dimulai pada Senin pagi hingga keesokan harinya. “Penyedia atau provider jasa seluler akan mematikan data seluler, IPTV dan seluruh penyedia jasa televisi termasuk radio tidak bersiaran atau mendistribusikan siaran dari hari Senin tanggal 11 Maret 2024 pukul 06.00 WITA sampai dengan hari Selasa tanggal 12 Maret 2024 pukul 06.00 WITA,” ungkap Gede Pramana.

Disisi lain, pihaknya menambahkan bahwa layanan pada objek vital seperti layanan rumah sakit, kantor kepolisian, militer, BMKG, BPBD, BASARNAS, bandara, pemadam kebakaran serta layanan kepentingan umum lainnya yang menurut sifatnya harus tetap berlangsung/ tetap beroperasi. Sementara itu terkait layanan telepon, sms dan fiber optik tetap dapat digunakan selama hari raya nyepi guna memudahkan masyarakat jika pada saat hari raya nyepi memerlukan layanan khususnya yang bersifat emergensi. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menghindari dan/ atau menangkal hoax dan konten negatif.

“Saya berharap pelaksanaan Hari Raya Nyepi tahun ini dapat terlaksana dengan kondusif dan aman,” ungkap Kepala Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Statistik Provinsi Bali, Gede Pramana. (Red/TN)
