Sebagai orang Bali kita harus bangga dengan dengan budaya warisan leluhur yang dikenal dunia apalagi sekarang Pemerintah Provinsi Bali sudah mengeluarkan surat keputusan Gubernur Bali nomor 79 tahun 2018 tentang hari perlindungan dan penggunaan busana adat Bali serta peraturan Gubernur Bali tentang perlindungan dan penggunaan bahasa, aksara, dan sastra Bali serta penyelenggaraan bulan bahasa Bali.

Maka tentu selaku lingkungan pendidikan yang merupakan tempat anak-anak untuk bisa belajar, kita laksanakan apa yang menjadi keputusan pemerintah yang luar biasa ini melalui pendidikan di sekolah.

Demikian kata Kepala SMA PGRI 2 Denpasar I Komang Arta Saputra, S.Pd., M.Pd., disela – sela pelaksanaan Bulan Bahasa dengan tema Bulan Bahasa Bali 2023 Nincapang Pelestarian Basa, Sastra, Miwah Aksara Bali Ring Para Sisya

“Kami selaku kepala sekolah bersama tim di SMA PGRI 2 Denpasar menyiapkan waktu, menyiapkanvtempat kegiatan bagi anak-anak untuk menyalurkan bakat dan berkreasi di Bulan Bahasa Bali ini,” ucapnya.

Kami juga mencoba untuk memberikan ruang kepada peserta didik dari luar sekolah SMA PGRI 2 Denpasar, dari SMP SMP kota Denpasar untuk dapat turut mengikuti kegiatan lomba – lomba yang diselenggarakan di SMA PGRI 2 Denpasar.

“Hal ini semua bertujuan agar kita dapat memiliki dan rasa kecintaan terhadap bahasa aksara dan sastra Bali yang sudah dikenal dunia,” ungkap Komang Arta Saputra yang didampingi oleh kedua guru BK SMA PGRI Denpasar.

Sementara I Wayan Gede Mahardijaya S.Pd., M.Pd., selaku pembina OSiS menyampaikan lomba – lomba ini berlangsung mulai tanggal 20 sampai dengan 23 Februari 2023.

Adapun perlombaan yang diselenggarakan antara lain untuk tingkat SMA PGRI 2 Denpasar, Ogoh- ogoh mini, Gatra Bali, Megenjekan dan ditingkat SMP lomba Pop Bali, Nyurat lontar, Ogoh – Ogoh mini, Mesatue bali. (Red-TN)
