TARGETNUSA.COM, GENTENG, BANYUWANGI ||SMK MUHI Genteng menjalankan program barunya Teaching Factory dengan dukungan penuh dari Diktorat dan hasilnya sungguh luar biasa peserta didik antusias mengikuti arahan maupun perannya sebagai printing atau percetakan.

Saat ditemui dirung kerjanya Humas pada selasa (22/01/2019) Wiwit Andikarya,S.Pd atas seijin kepala sekolah SMK MUHI Genteng Taslim,S.Ag menuturkan program unggulan Tahun ini adalah Teaching Factory yang dikerjakan langsung oleh peserta didik jurusan Multimedia

“Teaching Factory adalah suatu konsep pembelajaran dalam suasana sesungguhnya ,sehingga dapat menjembatani kesenjangan kompetensi antara kebutuhan indusrti dan pengetahuan sekolah”jelas Wiwit.

Pembelajaran seperti ini menjadi semangat tersendiri bagi peserta didik jadi bukan hanya materi didalam kelas saja namun di sertakan praktek menjadikan peserta didik lebih semangat belajarnya

Hal ini dibuktikan dengan support langsung oleh masyarakat sekitar maupun oleh instansi – instansi yang ada, salah satunya Kecamatan Genteng yang memesan beberapa Banner untuk kegiatan di kecamatan, jelas Wiwit.

Harapan dari Program Teaching Factory ini adalah bisa menumbuh-kembangkan karakter dan etos kerja(disiplin,tanggung jawab,jujur,kepemimpinan,kerjasama dan lain-lain) sehingga setelah peserta didik selesai masa sekolahny mereka mampu bersaing di DU/DI, papar Wiwit.

Peran dari guru sangat penting sebagai managemen didunia pembelajaran dengan adanya prgram Teaching Factory ini peserta didik merealisasikan materi yg siberikan oleh guru sehingga guru bisa mendongkrak semangat peserta didik dalam belajar dan Praktek.(TN/MIS/IL)
