TARGETNUSA.COM – Tersangka I Ketut Muliarta (35) tak bisa berkutik saat anggota Unit Reskrim Polsek Kuta Utara membekuknya di wilayah Sesetan, Denpasar Selatan, Sabtu (13/10) siang lalu. Tersangka asal Rendang, Karangasem ini, dikejar petugas lantaran mencuri handphone (Hp) Samsung Galaxi J Pro, milik tuan rumah di kos yang ditempatinya di Jalan Mertasari, Pengubengan Kangin, Kerobokan Kelod, Kuta Utara, Badung.

Kapolsek Kuta Utara AKP Johannes Nainggolan mengatakan, tertangkapnya I Ketut Muliarta, berdasarkan laporan Ni Luh Putu Sudarmini (28). Pemilik kos itu mengaku kehilangan Hp di bale bengong di halaman rumahnya di Banjar Pengubengan Kangin, Kerobokan Kelod, Sabtu (13/10) pagi. “Usai mandi, Ni Luh Putu Sudarmini baru menyadari jika Hp-nya tertinggal di bale bengong. Saat dilihat ternyata sudah ada di lokasi,” ucapnya.

Saat itu, Ni Luh Putu SudaRmini curiga dengan orang yang ngekos di rumahnya yakni I Ketut Muliarta. Setelah peristiwa pencurian tersebut dilaporkan, kemudian Kanit Reskrim Polsek Kuta Utara Iptu Adroyuan Elim melakukan penyelidikan dengan mencari I Ketut Muliarta ke tempat kerjanya di wilayah Sesetan, Densel. “Setelah kami introgasi, ternyata I Ketut Muliarta mengaku mencuri Hp pelapor. Tersangka ditangkap Sabtu sore,” tegas Kapolsek.

Berdasarkan keterangan tersangka, aksi pencurian yang dilakukannya karena adanya kesempatan. Saat akan berangkat kerja dia melihat Hp di bale bengong. Tanpa berpikir panjang dia lantas mengambil Hp seharga Rp 3 juta itu. “Sebelum mencuri dia sudah tahu jika Hp itu punya pemilik kos. Tapi dia tetap mengambil dan berniat menjualnya di wilayah Denpasar,” imbuh AKP Johannes. (Target)
